Found along the West Coast from California to Alaska, these noisy, social birds can be found foraging side-by-side with other smaller species. They can be enticed to move out of nearby dark woods areas by installing nesting boxes. At feeders, favorites of these birds are black oil sunflower seeds, suet or other mixed seeds.
